How New Year AI Video (newyearaivideo.com) collects, uses and deletes your data. Photos are deleted within 24 hours, generated videos after 14 days.

This Privacy Policy explains how New Year AI Video ("we", "us"), operating at newyearaivideo.com, handles your information when you use our AI New Year video generator.

Information we collect

  • Account data: your email address and name.
  • Photos you upload: the photo you submit to create a video (from this device, or from your phone through the "Upload from phone" QR link).
  • Generated videos: the AI video created from your photo.
  • Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive order details (amount, product, status) but never your full card number.
  • Usage and security data: basic logs, a first-party visitor cookie used to count funnel steps (for example "uploaded a photo", "video finished"), the network address used for abuse limits, and the result of a Cloudflare Turnstile human check. Funnel events never contain your photo, video links or payment details.

How we use your information

  • To create your New Year video and show it to you.
  • To manage your account, credits and purchases.
  • To prevent abuse, fraud and misuse (one free preview per account and network, daily limits, human checks).
  • To answer support requests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.

Photo and video retention

  • Uploaded photos are sent to temporary storage at our AI processing provider and are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Photos sent through "Upload from phone" are deleted as soon as your computer receives them (and after 1 day at the latest).
  • Generated files (videos) are deleted 14 days after they are created. Download your MP4 before then.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and related data at any time by emailing support@newyearaivideo.com.

Service providers

We share data only with providers needed to run the service: hosting, storage and bot protection (Cloudflare), AI video processing (a third-party image-to-video API), payments (Stripe), and email delivery. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Email support@newyearaivideo.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Age limit (18+)

The service is only for adults 18 years or older. Do not upload photos of minors.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS only) and limit access to stored data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
