Why we stopped giving free previews
Each video runs two AI models: one paints the start frame with the exact “2027” digits, the second animates it for ten seconds. Every run costs real money. A low-resolution free preview with a watermark also did not show what the real video looks like, so instead we show unedited real samples made with the paid settings and stand behind each paid video with a refund and a redo.
How to make one, step by step
- Choose a clear photo: you, the two of you side by side, or your pet. Face visible, good light.
- Open the generator on the homepage, upload the photo (or use “Upload from phone” on a computer).
- Pick a scene: Climb the giant 2027 (default), Goodbye 2026 push the 6, rooftop fireworks, golden confetti or snowy town square.
- Sign up with email (free, no card) and buy a single video for $2.99 or a pack.
- Wait about 2–3 minutes, download the 9:16 MP4 and post it.
Are there free ways to make a New Year video?
- Phone video editors have free New Year templates that add text, stickers and fireworks over your own clip. No AI scene, but free.
- Some general AI video apps give a few free credits after sign-up. Results are usually watermarked, short or low resolution, and you write the prompt yourself.
- You can film your own countdown and add a trending New Year sound in TikTok or Reels for free.
What you pay for here is the finished scene: your face on the climber, readable marble “2027” digits, a drone pull-back, 720×1280, no watermark, ready to post.
